What if this newsletter is a piece of the book?

It's Tuesday.

My calendar says: start writing this week’s newsletter.

So here I am. And something happened in the in-between — between sitting down and starting to type. A realization. One of those that makes you go still.

I think this newsletter is part of the book.

Let me explain.

For years I've known there is a Hawimi book to write. The story of building a kindness global nation. The philosophy. The iterations. The listening. The embodiment. What it actually means — day by day, choice by choice — to let kindness be the CEO.

But I wasn't ready. Something wasn't ripe.

And this morning, I believe it landed:

What if the newsletter is the book? What if the story of building Hawimi becomes the conductive thread — that weaves everything together?

That changes everything about how I relate to this. ✨ 

Every week — not just content. Chapters. Every send — not just sharing. A living document of what it looks like to build something so big on kindness.

This is what the book is about.

It's about Hawimi. About everything we have built so far — all better than before, all improvable, all forever under the scrutiny of kindness.

It's about this:

Kindness is the real CEO.

Whenever there is a discrepancy within the team — including the human CEO, the one writting this to you — we execute the kindest expression. Even if it is not the most profitable. Even if it is not the most comfortable. The kindest.

I’ve shared this before, in Spanish, kindness is amabilidad. Same root as amor. Love. Kindness is acting with love — not romantic love — with warm, steady, unconditional care. For oneself. For the other. With consent. Even when it's uncomfortable. Especially when it's uncomfortable.

I also want to tell you something else that arrived with this realization:

What if we learn together to delegate to AI what is truly delegatable — and reserve for humans only what is pure creative genius?

Not the computing of previous information. Not the implementation. The art. The pure creative act. The thing only a human soul can bring.

I am learning this in real time. Building Hawimi with less than ten people. Finding what is mine to create — and what I can hand off.

And I want you to witness that. Walk that with me. 💛

A question I have been living with. Maybe you will too?

How many of your actions were with consent — of your own body, your own nervous system, and the person in front of you? How many times did you pause to ask: is it okay if I say this? Is it okay if I do this?

I notice my own ego getting a little uncomfortable as I sit with that. Because the honest answer is: a smaller percentage than I would like.

And yet — even with a low percentage — since I started checking this daily, I have been living in paradise more than ever before.

That is the practice. That is the compass. That is the book’s teaching, let love, let kindness be the CEO.
