What if Kindness was the religion? What if Kindness was CEO?

Today I'm not supposed to work.

It's Nyepi in Bali — the Day of Silence. No traffic. No open businesses. Even the airport stops. The whole island pauses. By agreement. By tradition.

How crazy is that? …How sane is that?

I'm writing to you from my small, beautiful home here in Bali. Surrounded by a world of silence by choice. Looking out at glorious tropical green, caressed by the sun.

I love the tropics. And I also love springtime in Spain — surrounded by blossoming almond trees, the way I grew up. And the Nordic summers with their endless light paired with the cold Baltic Sea. And the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone in USA. And Patagonia in Argentina...

This planet is so beautiful. Isn’t it?

What if Nyepi or silence were not just one day to bless Bali?

What if silence was a practice by every human — before every action, before every choice?

A pause. Enough space for kindness to answer instead of reaction.

What if kindness were our compass? Our religion? Our CEO?

Kindness is love. Not the Hollywood version. Not the Disney version — with all the romance and conditions and the drama.

Kindness without conditions. Warm, steady, respectful.

I've been making kindness my religion for some time now. And I want to tell you: it's blowing my heart…

I'm more in peace with my mom — finally, after decades of intermittent conflict.

More in peace with my dad.

More in peace with my business. With my romantic life. With my body. With my tribe.

Even with my marketing — which I used to hate.

Kindness is making me more skillful. More able to manifest my truest desires — without chasing. Without forcing. Without betraying myself or my deepest values.

Kindness, in my experience, is the key to enter Paradise ;)
